Trusting your heart with someone is never an easy thing to do, and the question will always linger in the back of your mind if they will break it. Know that the only true way to ever fully trust someone with your heart is to give it to them. Trust is perhaps the most basic and yet most necessary/difficult element of a successful relationship. It is only when we are able to fully trust our partner, that they are able to fully love us back. It’s all about being guarded, you shouldn’t fully give your heart to someone without knowing their full intentions with it. You have to give a piece of your heart, but keep a piece to yourself for insurance purposes. Think of it as a back up, so if things go wrong and your heart gets played with, you still got the other half, that way it won’t hurt half as much. They should be trustworthy in the little things that come. You need to be able to trust them in the little things before you can trust them with the big things. It’s all about seeing how they handle the small things that matter to you. Remember, not every person you come encounter with in life will hurt you, you just have to get to know the person before you get committed to them. Give it time, be patient, and let things play out by themsleves. You can’t live with the fear that everyone is going to break your heart or miss handle it. Sometimes, behavior and actions say more than words ever could. It’s through our eyes that their love and trust will be understood. <3
